PSC all set to organise Ramadan cricket tourney

Muscat: The Pakistan Social Club (PSC) will organise the annual Ramadan cricket tournament from Tuesday.
According to the organisers this year's tournament, which will comprise two separate competitions, will be held at Yahya Group Holding LLC ground in Bausher.
“Pakistan Social Club is pleased to announce the start of the Ramadan Cricket tournament 2018. The draw of the teams will be held on Monday at Jinnah Hall of PSC while the first match will be played on Tuesday. However, the official opening ceremony will be held on Friday,” PSC General Secretary Muhammad Zaeem said.
“This year’s event will comprise of tape ball tournament and MRI (heavy tennis ball) tournament. PSC Ramadhan cricket not only entertains cricket fans with sixes and fours but it also entertains families with mouth watering Pakistani food on the sidelines of the matches,” PSC Chairman Muhammad Munir said, while inviting all nationalities to take part in the tournament.
“All players must have a valid residence card. It’s an eight-overs-a-side tournament but semifinals and finals will be T10 affairs. The tournament is limited to 32 teams and entries will be accepted on first-come-first-serve basis,” PSC vice-chairman Shabbir Ahmed Nadeem said.
