Worker dies in sand collapse incident in Oman

Muscat: An expat has died while carrying out road maintenance work in the Wilayat of Baushar, Muscat Governorate, said the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) on Wednesday, August 2, 2023.

CDAA said in a statement: "The search and rescue teams of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in Muscat Governorate responded to a sand collapse incident involving a worker while he was carrying out maintenance work in the Al-Ansab area in the Wilayat of Baushar."

Rescue teams have recovered the worker's body from the debris.
