Muscat: An expat died after a fire broke out in a house in Salalah, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) announced.

While firefighters managed to put out the fire, the victim couldn't be saved.

In a statement online PACDA said, "The rescue and ambulance team managed to douse a fire which broke out in a house in Al Wadi area, which resulted in the death of an African national.”
