Ministry of Manpower tests over 800 Omanis for private sector jobs

Muscat: The Ministry of Manpower conducted on Monday employment interviews and tests for more than 800 applicants for job opportunities in the private sector.
The 811 positions for which interviews were held are in the governorates of Muscat, Al Dhahirah, Musandam, South Al Batinah, South Al Sharqiya, Al Dhakhiliyah and Dhofar.
The tests and interviews are in implementation of the resolution of the Council of Ministers on provision of 25, 000 job opportunities for jobseekers.
Last week, the ministry announced appointment of 22,872 jobseekers in the various positions at the private sector’s establishments and companies.
The construction sector has seen appointment of 7,471 jobseekers.
