LIVE: Watch the opening ceremony of the 2018 Commonwealth Games

Muscat: The 21st Commonwealth Games — named Gold Coast 2018 — is being inaugurated on Queensland's Gold Coast in Australia.
The games, that will see the participation of 6,600 athletes from the 71 Commonwealth nations and territories around the globe.
According to the Games' official website, 18 sports and seven para-sports competitions will be organised over the course of 12 days.
