This government body achieved 96 per cent Omanisation in 2017

Muscat: The Ministry of Finance achieved an Omanisation rate of 96 per cent last year according to recent figures published by the governmental organisation.

Of its 758 employees, 727 were Omanis while the remainder were foreign nationals.

Omani males made up 74 per cent of all the ministry's employees, with Omani women comprising 22 per cent, and foreign nationals represent 4 per cent of the total. Additionally, of the 50 employees recruited last year 37 were Omani men, 11 were Omani women, with only two being foreign males.
