Austin: Police authorities in Austin are investigating an explosion in a neighborhood in the southwestern part of the city on Sunday, March 18.
Authorities said that two men in their 20s sustained non-life-threatening injuries and that they were still examining a suspicious backpack in the area.
Federal agents with the FBI and ATF are also on scene and aiding in the investigation. "We want to put out the message we've been putting out and that is do not touch any packages or anything that looks like a package. Do not even go near it at this time. Given the darkness, we have not yet been given the opportunity to look at his blast site to determine what has happened," Chief Brian Manley of the Austin Police Department said.
A reward for information in three earlier package bombings had risen on Sunday to $115,000.
