Muscat: Global Money Exchange, managed by State Bank of India, which has 40 branches across the length and breadth of the Sultanate and one regional office in Salalah, won the coveted award Best Exchange House of 2017 by Bank Muscat, the leading financial services provider in Oman, for the third consecutive year.
The award was presented to Subromonian K. S., managing director of the company by senior officials of Bank Muscat in a grand function held at the Hotel Grand Millennium recently. The company also received a special award for utilising Bank Muscat CDM for bulk deposit services. “We are absolutely delighted to receive the award for the third year in a row. We thank all our customers for their continued support and our patrons for their trust,” Subromonian said.
The company currently offers instant remittance facility to all major banks in India irrespective of bank holidays. The company is in the process of further expanding its reach to more locations/expatriates through the opening of new branches and establishing business relationship with reputed banks in countries where growth potential exists.
The company would be also opening five kiosks in the new Muscat International Airport for extending Foreign Exchange Services on March 20, two in the arrival hall and three in the departure hall.
