Rainfall expected in two governorates of Oman

Muscat: Sporadic rain is expected in the governorates of Dhofar and Al Wusta and other parts of the Sultanate of Oman.

The Oman Meteorology said that the aerial photos show the flow of high and medium clouds over most of the governorates of the Sultanate of Oman in addition to the condensation of low clouds over parts of the Dhofar and Al Wusta governorates with opportunities for cumulus clouds to form causing sporadic rain in the Hajar Mountains and parts of the Dhofar and Al Wusta governorates during the evening of 2nd April.

The meteorological report indicated that the weather expected during today and tomorrow includes active northwesterly winds (20-25) knots over most of the governorates leading to rising dust and low horizontal visibility. Also, the sea will have medium/rough waves ranging from 2 to 3 metres on most coasts of the Sultanate.
