Indian actress Sridevi died due to 'accidental drowning'

Muscat: Late Indian actress Sridevi Kapoor died because of an accidental drowning, a post-mortem analysis has revealed.
The results of the autopsy of the actress, who passed away in Dubai on Saturday, stated that the actress had lost consciousness and drowned in her bathtub, Dubai police said online.
A statement put out by the government of Dubai read, "Following the completion of post-mortem analysis, Dubai Police today stated that the death of Indian actress Sridevi occurred due to drowning in her hotel apartment’s bathtub following loss of consciousness.
"Dubai Police has transferred the case to Dubai Public Prosecution, which will carry out regular legal procedures followed in such cases."
