‘Tango’ comes to Royal Opera House Muscat

Muscat: The Royal Opera House Muscat (ROHM) will once again host the show ‘Tango’, on March 3, 2018.
Acclaimed musician Fabio Armiliato is all set to dazzle the audience as he sings along to the music of renowned tango pianist and arranger, Fabrizio Mocata. The tenor and pianist combined classic Italian bel canto with tango to create a new kind of theatre called Recital CanTango.
The recitation will be delivered by Natalia Bolani, an actor from Uruguay, who narrates a story that takes the audience back to the birth of tango in Rio de la Plata in Argentina and Uruguay.
Fabio and Fabrizio were inspired by Tango Cancion (Tango Song), an early twentieth-century form of music made famous by two Tango interpreters: Italian tenor, Tito Schipa, and Carlos Gardel, a French-Agrentinian star.
Accompanied by traditional instrumental music, video projection and animation, the innovative choreography of Los Guardiola will be performed in the Guardiola “Tango Teatro” style.
The show is scheduled to take place at 7:30 pm. For further information and booking consult the ROHM website: www.rohmuscat.org.om
