Blood bank needs donors from this blood group urgently

Muscat: Oman's Department of Blood Bank Services has called for people having the blood group O- (O negative) to donate blood, as there is an urgent need for the same.

The announcement was made on the official Twitter handle of Department of Blood Bank Services (DBBS) on Sunday.

DBBS tweeted that blood can be donated at the Bausher blood bank, or the branch in Ibra.

"Emergency call for blood donors having the group O-. There is an urgent need for you to donate blood today at Bausher Blood Bank or Ibra Blood bank," the DBBS statement read.
