Bangladeshi expats pay tributes on Language Martyrs’ Day

Muscat: Observing Language Martyrs’ Day and International Mother Language Day, the Bangladesh School Muscat (BSM) recalled the sacrifices made by the martyrs of the 1952 language movement in Dhaka.
The Bangladeshi expatriates expressed deep grief and prayed for the departed souls. The day was officially started by Md. Golam Sarwar, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to the Sultanate, who put wreaths on the Martyrs’ Monument or Shaheed Minar.
