Did you know this fabric is banned in Oman?

Muscat: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, during a recent inspection, confiscated military clothing and camouflage fabrics. Possession of these articles is in violation of the Sultanate’s import laws. “As part of the inspection carried out by the ministry, a number of fabrics and military clothing were confiscated for violating the decision to ban the import of such products,” the ministry statement said.
Merchants must make themselves aware of the types of fabrics and clothing banned for import. In 2015, Dr Ali bin Masoud Al Sunaidi, Minister of Commerce and Industry, approved a decision to ban the import of clothes, fabrics, textiles, shoes, and all goods that contain immoral images, logos, phrases, abusive language, or statements against religions or related to any terrorist organisation.
It also prevents the promotion of such goods by any means. The ministerial regulation also bans the import of military-like clothes.
