Royal Oman Police celebrates new building inauguration

Mahadha: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) celebrated the opening of Mahadha Police Station and the Services Building on Wednesday. It will help in providing the best police services to citizens and residents in the Wilayat of Mahadha in the Governorate of Al Buraimi by using modern
technologies.
The opening of the new police station and the Services Building was held under the patronage of Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of State, Governor of Muscat in the presence of Lt.Gen Hassan bin Mohsen Al Shraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs, honourable members of the State Council, members of Majlis Al Shura, senior officers at ROP, military and security departments, sheikhs, dignitaries and citizens.
The opening ceremony witnessed a military parade that began with performing the military salute to the chief guest. The participants chanted the ROP anthem, and said thrice ‘Long Live His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said’, the Supreme Commander. The ROP Music Band played different musical pieces. The chief guest accompanied by the Inspector General of Police and Customs unveiled the plaque, declaring the official opening of the new
station.
