Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said received a written message from King Willem-Alexander of The Netherlands relating to the good relationships between the two friendly countries and fields of the existing cooperation between them in several areas.

The message was received, on behalf of His Majesty, by His Highness Sayyid Asa'ad bin Tariq Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan when he received in his office today Sigrid Kaag, Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

During the meeting, the Dutch minister conveyed greetings of King Alexander to the country's monarch along with his best wishes of good health and well-being to His Majesty, and the Omani people further progress.

On his turn, Sayyid Asa'ad asked the Dutch official to convey greetings of His Majesty the Sultan to the King of Netherlands, along with His Majesty's best wishes of permanent success to the him and the Dutch friendly people further progress and prosperity.



The meeting reviewed the good bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and means of enhancing them in various fields.

The meeting was attended by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry, the Secretary General and Advisors in the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan and the delegation accompanying the Dutch minister.
