OCCI oversees OMR800 million in transactions in a month

Muscat: The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) oversaw transactions worth over OMR800 million from 19,000 attestation transactions in the last month alone.

In a statement online, the OCCI said, “The total amount of money received through attested invoices is OMR831,449,569.”

The attested transactions for the month of January 2018 include 56 OCCI cards, 3,244 international origin certificates, 3,410 Omani origin certificates for re-exporting foreign products and 177 attestation of generalised preference system certificates.

The transactions also included 962 Oman origin certificates for national products, 6,022 commercial invoices, 271 commercial agencies, 305 power of attorneys and 1,752 Omani origin certificates apart from 2,898 other documents.

OCCI added, “The total number of attestation transactions in January 2018 amounted to 19,097.”
