Muscat: Dhofar Municipality has erected barriers on the coast of Al-Daharez to prevent the passage of vehicles.

Dhofar Municipality, represented by the Public Cleanliness Department, placed barriers made from palm trees on Al-Daharez Beach in order to prevent the entry of vehicles of all types onto the beach area, as it poses a danger to the safety of its visitors and harassing families, as well as pollution to the beach caused by vehicle exhausts.

The Municipality has established guidelines along the length of the beach to urge visitors to abide by the laws and regulations enforced, in addition to continuing awareness of the various misconducts and their impact on the community. This includes the phenomenon of vehicular traffic on the beaches and calls on all to cooperate.
