Consumer protection authority's call service restored

Muscat: The Public Authority for Consumer Protection (PACP) was able to rectify a technical bug that was preventing them from receiving consumer's calls.
According to a previous statement by PACP, “Due to a temporary technical failure at the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority’s (TRA) communication centre, we are unable to receive any calls. We are currently working on it.”
However, soon after the problem was rectified they announced in a statement online, "We are happy to inform you that we are now able to receive consumer calls through the Authority call centre. Thank you for your understanding."
