Oman, Jordan justice ministers sign MoU

Amman: The Higher Judicial Institute (HJI) signed yesterday a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Jordanian Judicial Institute (JJI) at the Ministry of Justice in Amman.
Sheikh Abdul Malik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Minister of Justice, Chairman of HJI Board and Dr. Awadh Abu Jarad Al Mashagbeh, Minister of Justice and Chairman of JJI Board signed the memorandum in the presence of the accompanying delegation and the Sultanate’s Ambassador accredited to the Kingdom of Jordan.
The memorandum included a number of aspects of cooperation between the two institutions in the fields of legal and judicial training.
It provided for the exchange of study plans and the scientific content of the materials and training programmes and the exchange of scientific publications prepared by the faculty members or the students of each party.
The memorandum also stressed the importance of activating joint scientific research between the two parties and exchanging information and invitations about conferences or seminars organised by the two parties.
