Kiev: Dozens of activists have vandalised Russian banks and a federal agency in Kiev, hurling stones and bottles, on Sunday, February 18.
Footage shows activists hurling stones, bottles and eggs at the offices of Russia's Sberbank and Alfa bank.
Ukranian media says about a hundred people were involved, with the group also targeting the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudichestvo). It's unclear if anyone was arrested.
Relations between Russia and Ukraine plummeted after the annexation of the Crimean peninsula in 2014 and the beginning of the pro-Moscow uprising in eastern Ukraine.
