Muscat: Several expat street vendors were raided by the Muscat Municipality and cigarettes, tobacco and rotten fish were seized.

A statement by the Muscat Municipality read, “The Department of Urban Inspection in Muscat Municipality of Muttrah Al Kubra, raided expat workers in the markets of Ruwi and Al Hamriyah. The department also confiscated cigarettes, tobacco and rotten fish.”
