Omani firm F&M signs contract with Qatar-based ASTAD

Muscat: F&M Middle East Engineering Consultancy LLC, Oman’s leading Design Consultants, recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Qatar-based Project Management Consultants ASTAD. The MoU not only paves the way for joint strategic objectives towards delivering projects, but also extends mutual business opportunities in engineering consultancy, construction management, design, and project management.
Organised at the F&M ME office in Muscat, which also serves as the regional headquarters of the firm, the signing ceremony was attended by ASTAD CEO Eng. Ali Al Khalifa, ASTAD International General Manager Abdulaziz Al Mulla, ASTAD Senior Business Development Manager Ahmad Khudairi, ASTAD Business Development Manager Raed Asad, CEO of F&M ME Hazem Abdul Karim, and F&M ME Partner in Oman Salim Ba Omar.
“This MoU allows us to collaboratively deliver expert design and project management services not just in Qatar but internationally. ASTAD and F&M are specialists in their respective fields and markets, and this MoU will support the continued growth and success of our companies,” Al Khalifa said.
“ASTAD and F&M have worked hand-in-hand on multiple projects since 2010. We have also jointly participated on tenders here in Oman. This MoU further cements our working relationship and will serve as a value-add for our clients in Oman and in the region,” Karim said.
