Oil will not be sold to countries imposing price caps :Saudi Energy Minister

Muscat: We will not sell oil to any country that imposes a price cap on our supplies, said the Energy Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia according to SPA.

The Saudi oil minister, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, said in an interview with Energy Intelligence, the text of which was published by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), where he said: “If a price cap is imposed on Saudi oil exports, we will not sell oil to any country that imposes a price cap on our supplies, and we will reduce oil production.”

He added, "I wouldn't be surprised if other countries took the same action."

Activists on social media circulated statements by the Saudi Minister of Energy, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, and his threats not to sell oil to any country that might impose a price ceiling on his country's oil.
