Indian PM Modi visits Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and Shiva temple

Muscat: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has thanked His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said before leaving Oman, as he ended his trip to the Sultanate with visits to the Shiva temple and Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque on Monday morning.
"Thank you Your Majesty Sultan Qaboos for your exceptional warmth, hospitality and friendship, as also your personal attention to details, that made my visit to Oman one of the most memorable visits I have undertaken anywhere.
"This Oman visit is one I will cherish for a long time to come. This visit has helped in building upon the centuries old ties between our enterprising people, and will impart a substantial momentum to our relations in all spheres, including trade and investment relations," he said.
Prime Minister Modi also tweeted about his visits to the temple and mosque, saying, "Feeling extremely blessed to pray at the Shiva temple in Muscat.
Modi also visited the iconic Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Muscat and shared some pictures.
Earlier in the day, he addressed top business leaders and CEOs in Oman, according to the Indian Embassy in Muscat.
Oman's state news agency confirmed that the PM had left the country, with this statement: "India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his accompanying delegation left the Sultanate on Monday after a two-day visit, during which he met with His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said."
