Here’s your chance to explore the Empty Quarter without leaving your seat

Muscat: The National Museum of the Sultanate of Oman is offering people a chance to explore the vast Empty Quarter desert without leaving the capital, through a lecture in February.
The talk will be delivered by Mark Evans, a fellow of the New York Explorer's Club and Royal Geographic Society, who was part of the historic expedition that traversed the Rub al Khali for the second time in recorded history.
The lecture will be delivered at 11:00 am on February 26, 2018, at the National Museum's Learning Centre.
