Deputy PM Sayyid Asa'ad takes part in Saudi celebrations

Riyadh: Delegated by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, His Highness Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tariq Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan participated on Wednesday in the opening ceremony of the 32nd National Heritage and Cultural Festival (Al Janadriyah) and the Annual Grand Camel Race.
During the event, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received Sayyid Asa’ad who conveyed the greetings and wishes of good health and happiness to King Salman and to brotherly Saudi people further progress and prosperity.
King Salman asked sayyid Asa’ad to convey his greetings and wishes of good health and happiness to His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people further progress and prosperity. On his arrival at King Khalid International Airport, Sayyid Asa’ad and his accompanying delegation were received by His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of Riyadh Region and a number of senior officials and were seen off by Dr. Ali bin Nasser Al Ghafis, Minister of Labour and Social Development, a number of senior officials and members of the Sultanate's Embassy.
Earlier, Sayyid Asa’ad and his accompanying delegation were seen off upon their departure from Muscat by Sheikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Minister of Justice, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Hinai, Advisor of the State, Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Shabibi, Minister of Housing, Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed Al Shibaniyah, Minister of Education, Eid bin Mohammed Al Thaqafi, KSA Ambassador to the Sultanate, Saif bin Mohammed Al Abri, Secretary General of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan.
