Muscat: Riding on superb performances by Naheem Pasha and Manoj Varghese, RAHRC defeated Majees CT by 34 runs in an F Division clash at Muscat Municipality Ground II in Al Amerat.
Invited to bat first, RAHRC piled up 190 for eight in 20 overs thanks to vital knocks by Naheem Pasha (48 off 24) and Nandkumar Jadhav (48 off 34). Faris Said Ali Al Zadjali batted well too, contributing 34 off 25. Sathish Kushal and Ayman Ayaz bagged three and two wickets respectively.
Majees suffered early setback losing two wickets for eight runs followed by a middle order collapse that saw them slumping from 72 for two to 94 for five in 12 overs.
Having been slowed down by regular fall off wickets, Majees were finally dismissed for 156 in 19.3 overs. Aneeq Jassim (40 off 31), Sudheer Venkata (27 off 15) and Ayman Ayaz (25 off 15) were the main scorers. Manoj Varghese claimed three wickets for 36 runs.

Sarwar inspires Muscat Masters
Muhammed Sarwar slammed a scintillating 65 off just 30 balls to fetch Muscat Masters a 64-run victory against OCT Al Hail B in a G Division encounter at Muscat Municipality Ground IV.
OCT Al Hail B opted to bowl first and paid a big price for their decision as the Masters amassed 206 for five in 20 overs thanks largely to Sarwar’s power hitting.
Gaurav Honavar (35 off 31), Danish Mohammed (34 off 24) and Sridhar Moosa (32 off 30) also made notable contributions.
Facing a huge target, OCT Al Hail B crumbled under its immense pressure and were bowled out for 142 in 19.5 overs. Only Adil Al Balushi (32 off 24) and Nusrat Allah (30 off 23) showed some resistance. Pravin Lewis, Anish Bhasin, Danish Mohammed and Mohammed Chowdary bagged two wickets apiecce for the Masters.

Rashid, Ibrar lift Global United
Mohammed Rashid and Ibrar Hussain gave brilliant account of their skills, leading Global United to a comfortable seven-wicket win over Bosher Olympic Center (BOC) in an H Division game at OAC Ground III in Al Seeb.
Batting first, BOC scored only 135 all out in 19.3 overs. Only Saif Shamsuddin batted with some authority, scoring 44 off 53. Mohammed Rashid was the highest wicket-taker, claiming three for 19 in four overs.
Global United raced to the target in 12.5 overs, scoring 139 for three thanks to Ibrar Hussain’s power-packed 52 off 25. Ahmad Sameer (44 off 27) and Shoab Mohammed (26 off 17) were the other notable scorers. Nakul Mahesh took two wickets.
