Oman Post asks users to renew subscriptions

Muscat: Oman Post customers need to renew their mailbox subscriptions before the end of January to avoid paying any penalties.
“One of the objectives of this feature is to introduce users to the service packages provided by Oman Post, and the new technologies used by it,” said Majid Al-Mamari, supervisor of post boxes unit at Oman Post.
This new feature is part of Oman Post’s marketing campaign, “Inside the Box” that started last year and focuses on services offered to its subscribers.
“The campaign aims to invite citizens and residents, as well as all government and private institutions in the Sultanate, to subscribe or renew their post box subscriptions in order to benefit from various Oman Post services,” added Al Mamari
Subscribers can renew their services at various post offices, or online via the Oman Post website https://omanpost.om/box.
In 2017, Oman Post took a significant leap forward in developing better services for its customers, including the Ersal, Matjar, and Oman Post Call Centre services. In addition to launching the “text message notifications to customers” service upon the arrival or registration of items, it launched the subscription or renewal service through the Oman Post website for the first time.
Services
The Ersal service is a cooperation between Oman Post and ‘Ersal’ to provide local delivery services (door-to-door) through the use of mobile addresses. The service features a number of advantages, such as payment on receipt, assembly and re-packaging services, and a dedicated customer portal.
The Matjar service provides virtual mail boxes in the United States of America and a number of other countries at competitive prices.
This service enables customers to shop easily from their favourite websites, and to collect and receive their mailed items within 5-7 business days.
In addition to the new services, Oman Post offers a number of traditional postal services, such as delivery and receipt of regular and urgent parcels from the Sultanate and 18 countries around the world to 83 branches of Oman Post. It also provides door-to-door services and a number of government and commercial services.
