Indian expat killed, four others seriously injured in Muscat bus crash

Muscat: A bus crash at Qantab in the governorate of Muscat has left one person dead and 23 others injured, according to Royal Oman Police (ROP).
One Indian worker was killed, while four others — including the Omani driver — sustained serious injuries when the 60-seater passenger bus overturned in Qantab on Sunday evening.
"A total of 24 people, including the Omani bus driver, were on board of the bus when the accident took place. The remaining 19 Indian workers had moderate to minor injuries," an ROP official source said.
A police statement online said all the injured were taken to hospital.
