Egyptian singer Tamer Hosny dazzles audiences in Oman

Muscat: Egyptian singing sensation Tamer Hosny, one of the most popular vocalists in the Arab World, performed live during the 'Muscat Festival Concert' at the City Amphitheater in Muscat on Wednesday night. Fans of the singer were treated to a host of his most popular songs, with many spending more than two hours indulging in Tamer's performance.

The iconic Arab singer praised the welcoming atmosphere and hospitality of the Sultanate, and was honored by Muscat Festival organizers at the conclusion of his concert. Tamer enthusiastically greeted concert-goers throughout his appearance, stopping to take a number of selfies with his fans.

Tamer Hosny is a singer, composer, actor, producer and scriptwriter from Cairo, Egypt. He started his career in 2002 with the release of a joint album with Egyptian star Sherine Abdel Wahab, following it up with his debut solo album 'Hob' in 2004. Within a few years, Tamer had amassed a number of internationally acclaimed awards for his performances, including being named 'Best Singer in the Middle East' by the Big Apple Music Award Foundation and winning the 'Best African Artist' award in 2010.
