New floating aqua park comes to Oman

Muscat: The first floating aqua park in Al Batinah was inaugurated by Millennium Resort Mussanah, the lifestyle destination owned by Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN).
The attraction is situated in the resort’s private marina and leverages the expertise of world-renowned design company Aflex Technology. The floating aqua park is now open to public with a capacity to entertain up to 120 people every hour.
Christoph Schleissing, General Manager of Millennium Resort Mussanah, said, “The introduction of this milestone floating aqua park adds to the list of attractions available to our guests. Through this addition, our partnership with OMRAN will continue to nurture tourism development along the Al Batinah Coast and provide visitors with more unique experiences during their trips in Oman.”
Welcoming visitors of all ages from its custom-made gangway, the wide variety rides include plenty of jumps, slides, and spills to keep thrill-seekers busy for hours. A three-metre high tower challenges the most adventurous. Also, permanent life guards and instructors will be on hand to ensure visitors enjoy optimal security during their stay.
The floating aqua park aims to create unique experiences for Al Batinah locals, promote inbound and domestic tourism, and cater to international visitors.
The Millennium Resort Mussanah has earned its reputation as one of Oman’s premier resorts. With a wealth of activities including the state-of-the-art Zayna Spa, the resort has been recognised internationally for delivering best-in-class experiences to its guests. Its longlist of awards include the prestigious award for best ‘Luxury Coastal Resort’ in the Middle East and North Africa during the 10 annual World Luxury Hotel Awards in addition to four consecutive TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.
