68 illegal migrants deported from Oman last week

Muscat: Forty six (46) illegal migrants were arrested with 68 being deported last week, according to the Royal Oman Police (ROP).
An ROP spokesman said: "According to statistics issued by the Directorate of Combating Infiltration in the Directorate General of Operations, in cooperation with the other military and security forces, police arrested 46 infiltrators of different nationalities in a number of governorates in Oman for entering the country illegally."
"Statistics show that 68 infiltrators, both male and female, were deported to their countries after taking the necessary legal action and coordinating with the embassies of their respective countries," the spokesman added.
