ROP: Eight arrested for theft in Oman

Muscat: Eight people of various nationalities were arrested by the Department of Criminal Investigation for committing a number of theft crimes in the state of Salalah, Royal Oman Police (ROP) announced.
An official ROP source said, "Two of the suspects were arrested after robbing six vehicles; three suspects were arrested for stealing power cables; two others for stealing from a house; one was arrested for stealing from a shop."
All the accused have been referred to the judicial authorities to complete the proceedings.
