Consumer authority orders mobile phone cover recall in Oman

Muscat: Thirty six (36) mobile phone covers from Victoria's Secret have been called back for containing dangerous liquid substances, the Public Authority for Consumer Protection (PACP) announced.
PACP has ordered a recall of 36 phone covers that contained a sparkling liquid which was manufactured by MIXelectronics. It was produced from August 2015 to September 2016.
A spokesman from the consumer agency said: "This call comes to protect the consumers from using those phone covers. The covers contain dangerous liquid substances, therefore a breakage in the covers will lead to leakage of the liquid which will result in chemical burns or inflammation of the skin."
Those returning their mobile phone covers to the Victoria's Secret store will get a full refund.
