Muscat: Firefighters in Oman were called into action twice to put out house fires, according to statements released by the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA).
On Sunday night, a rescue team manged to control a fire that broke out in a house in Barka without recording any injuries, with an official source saying the fire broke out at a house in the Ar Rumays area.
In another incident, firefighters doused a fire at a house in Ibri early on Monday morning. "Fire brigades managed to extinguish a fire that broke out in a house in Ibri without registering any injuries," PACDA wrote in a statement online.
