Oman’s Al Musallami, Al Saadi to play for Al Jazira

Muscat: With success come awards and rewards. But it also opens up new avenues and presents new challenges.
It is so true in case of two of Oman’s Gulf Cup winning players - Mohammed Al Musallami and Hareb Al Saadi.
Even as the entire nation is still celebrating their historic Gulf Cup triumph in Kuwait, the government announcing the awards and the private sector waiting to reveal their plans for rewarding the players, both Mohammed Al Musallami and and Hareb Al Saadi has been presented with an opportunity to ply their trade in the neighouring UAE.
According to reliable sources, the Omani duo, who currently play for Suwaiq Club in Oman domestic league, have already signed an official contract with Al Jazira Club.
Both Hareb Al Saadi and experienced Mohammed Al Musallami played key roles in Oman’s triumph in Kuwait.
While midfielder Hareb Al Saadi dazzled with his attacking display, Mohammed Al Musallami was the key to four-man defence not conceding any goals, barring penalties, during the entire duration of the 23rd edition of the Gulf Cup.
While playing for Al Jazira in the UAE league will be an experience in itself, Al Musallami and Al Saadi will also get to rub shoulders with the club’s other international stars like Brazilian forward Romarinho and Moroccan midfielder Mbark Boussoufa.
