An explosion caused by two planes colliding at Toronto's Pearson Airport worried passengers and delayed flights on Friday (January 5).
Video shared on social media, showed explosion from the neighbouring plane.
Emergency services responded to the collision between Sunwing Airlines and West Airlines which happened at 6:19p.m local time (2319GMT), Greater Toronto Airport Authority said in a statement.
Calgary-based Westjet said that all 168 passengers and six crew members on board its plane were safe and accounted for.
Sunwing said there were no passengers or crew onboard its plane at time of collision. A spokesman for the Transport Safety Board, Canada's transportation regulator, said that a team was headed to the airport to investigate.
