Kuwait City: Oman national team player Saad Suhail has welcomed fans travelling from Muscat to Kuwait to support the national team in their semi-final game against Bahrain.

In a specially recorded video message to the fans, Suhail says, “To our fans, thank you for your support from the very beginning of the tournament, we await you in our match against Bahrain at the Jaber Stadium.”

The video also shows the Oman Football Association’s senior officials overseeing their country’s training session ahead of the match against Bahrain, which kicks off at 6:15pm Oman time this evening, ahead of the second semi-final between Iraq and the United Arab Emirates.

Supporters of the national team who will be watching the game from Oman can either watch it on state-run channel Oman Sport TV, or on BeIN Sports and Abu Dhabi Sports.

Striker Said Salim’s goals in the second half against Saudi Arabia were what sent the Sultanate through to the semis, ensuring Oman topped Group A in the process.
