Muscat: Having developed a culture of encouragement and incentives, Oman Cricket continues to inspire players to step forward and become the champion cricketers it needs at the highest level.
As a result, the top division is witnessing intense competition, nail-biting finishes and performances par excellence.
Keeping up its tradition of rewarding top performers in Premier League, Oman Cricket (OC) handed out Player of the Month cash awards to joint winners Vaibhav Wategaonkar of Muscat CT and Muhammed Naseem Khushi of Assarain for September and October. Ayaan Khan of Muscat CT won the award for the month of November.
The awards were given by Madhu Jesrani, Secretary Oman Cricket, and Duleep Mendis, Chief Development Officer, at a ceremony at OC office in Ruwi.
Oman Cricket shortlists players showing outstanding performances in domestic games and rewards the most deserving of them every month.
