Oman, Bahrain to boost cooperation in legislative field

Manama: Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain received on Tuesday Khalid bin Hilal Al Ma’awali, Chairman of the Majlis Al Shura and his accompanying delegation, currently visiting Bahrain.
They discussed joint cooperation between the two countries and means of supporting the parliamentary cooperation.
Strong ties
Prince Khalifa affirmed that this visit embodies the strong relations binding the Sultanate and Bahrain.
Meanwhile, Khalid bin Hilal Al Ma’awali, Chairman of the Majlis A’Shura hold a consultation meeting with Ali bin Ibrahim Al Mulla, Speaker of the Bahraini Council of Representatives.
The meeting dealt with various aspects of cooperation in the legislative and parliamentary areas between the two councils.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Ali bin Nassir Al Mahrooqi, Secretary General of the Majlis Al Shura, Abdullah bin Rashid Al Midailawi, Sultanate’s Ambassador to Bahrain, head and members of the Omani-Bahraini Parliamentary Friendship Group, and some members of the Bahraini Council of Representatives.
