FBI officials in California have arrested a man they say was plotting to attack people at the popular pier 39 in San Francisco before Christmas.
26-year-old Everitt Aaron Jameson told an undercover investigator he wanted to show support for IS.
He is accused of outlining a plan to use explosives at the pier and attack people as they fled.
He was charged with attempting to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization.
