Oman State Council office meets

Muscat: The State Council Office on Tuesday held its second meeting of the third annual sitting of the sixth term under the chair of Dr. Yahya bin Mahfoudh Al Mantheri, Chairman of the State Council.
The meeting hosted Eng. Nashia bint Saud Al Kharousiyah, Chairperson of the Ad Hoc Committee for Studying the proposal on the ' National Programme for Excellence Performance and Governmental Creativity.
She pointed out that the aim of the programme is to enable public organisations to meet the needs and expectations of society with relation to getting highly efficient and effective services.
The Chairman of the State Council hailed the efforts made to study the proposal and guided the Committee to enrich the study by hosting some efficient organisations to benefit from their experiences in this fields.
The Office reviewed a number of proposals by members of the State Council and reviewed a number of incoming mails and reports from the different organizations. It also reviewed the follow up report on the implementation of the decisions taken at the previous meeting and discussed other important issues.
