Kuwaiti contemporary art exhibition opens

Muscat: The Kuwaiti Contemporary Art Exhibition, organised by the Omani Society for Fine Arts (OSFA) of the Sultan Qaboos Center for Culture and Science of the Royal Court, was opened at OSFA headquarters under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Kamil bin Mahmoud Al Said.
The exhibition is organised in cooperation with the National Council for Culture, Arts and Literature in Kuwait.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the patron of the ceremony honored the Kuwaiti artists participating in the exhibition. After that, he opened the exhibition and toured its corners . The exhibition hosts 41 works of art and will remain open to the public until December 26th.
The exhibition comes in the light of the mutual cooperation between OSFA and the National Council for Culture, Arts and Literature in the State of Kuwait in enriching the fine art scene.
The exhibition also comes within the framework of the objectives of OSFA in taking the march of the art movement in the Sultanate towards further development and prosperity by providing the basic requirements of the Omani or resident artists or in order to give him the opportunity to meet with different artistic experiences.
Participating in the exhibition are the artists Mahmoud Ashkanani, Ali Noman, Mohammed Al Sheikh, Nora Al Abdalhadi, Abdullah Al Othman, Fawzia Hayat, Ibtisam Al Asfour and Nawaf Al Armali.
