Man electrocuted to death in Oman

Muscat: An expat has died after suffering electric shocks when an electricity pole fell on him, according the Oman's Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA).
Emergency services and hospital staff tried in vain to save the man's life after the pole fell on him, near Ibri in the Al-Dahirah Governorate, about 300 kilometres away from Muscat.
"The body was taken to the hospital by ambulance," PACDA said online.
An eyewitness, Ali Al-Ghafri said: "The man was transporting garbage in a truck, which hit the wires. When he tried to remove the wires with his hands, he was electrocuted."
