Muscat: Damage to educational institutions has been recorded in the Sultanate, with walls collapsing at a school in Izki, and a canopy at a college falling through with the weight of rain water in Rustaq.
No injuries were recorded in either incident.

At Rustaq College, the canopy couldn't handle the weight of the water that had gathered from the rain, which led to it collapsing to the ground.
The wall at the Al Fadhil bin Al Hawari School in Izki also collapsed due to the rain, with a resident confirming that there were no injuries.

Most of the schools in Muscat are closed due to heavy rain, as announced by Ministry of Education.
