Oman's draft budget sent to Council of Ministers

Muscat: The State Council referred the Draft General Budget 2018 to the Council of Ministers accompanied by the recommendations of the State Council and Majlis Al Shura.
The referral was made in the second regular meeting of the third annual convening of the sixth term of the State Council yesterday.
The Draft Budget was referred to the State Council by Majlis following the discussions on the report prepared by the expanded economic committee comprising members of the economic committee and chairpersons of the permanent committees of the State Council after amendments to the draft budget.
The meeting was chaired by Yahya bin Mahfoudh Al Mantheri, chairman of the State Council in the presence of the members and Dr. Khalid bin Salim Al Saidi, Secretary General of the State Council.
The meeting also reviewed the report of the Secretariat General, a report on the Omani Forum on Partnership and Social Responsibility and a report on the visit of the delegation of the Arab Parliament to Iraq during from August 14 to August 16 , 2017 among other issues.
