Oman-Britain military exercise Nimr Al Jabal held

Muscat: The Royal Army of Oman (RAO), represented by Musandam Security Force and Sultan of Oman Parachuting implemented the practical demonstration for the joint Oman-UK military exercise Nimr Al Jabal in which units of the Royal Navy of the UK took part.
The demonstration was held under the auspices of Air Vice Marshall Matar bin Salim Al Balushi, Commander of RAO in the presence of General Sir Nick Carter, Chief of the UK General Staff.
The practical demonstration of the joint exercise was carried out at the combat training units in the mountainous and constructed areas of the RAO in the Governorate of Musandam.
The participants showed a high level of performance and morale. The demonstration also showcased the high level of training and rehabilitation of RAO personnel, as well as their ability to implement joint mission.
The implementation of this exercise is part of the training plan of RAO to maintain high level performance and combat efficiency for RAO personnel.
It is also part of the annual training and rehabilitation programs implemented by RAO with friendly countries to share military experiences and achieve prospective aims.
The demonstration of the joint Omani-UK military exercise was attended by a number of senior officers from both sides.
