Sultan Qaboos University discusses economic crisis in Oman

Muscat: The Humanitarian Research Center of Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) on Monday organised a seminar under the auspices of Dr. Abdul Monem bin Mansour Al Hasani, Minister of Information.
The seminar, which discussed the management of economic crisis, included a presentation on SQU Humanitarian Research Centre and a
panel discussion on the modern methods in the management of economic crisis and how to take preventive measures to forecast
economic and financial crisis.
The panel discussion also highlighted the plans and programmes that should be implemented by the public and private sectors during crises.
It also showcased a number of international practices and successful case studies and scenarios for forecasting and managing economic
crisis.
The seminar came out with a number of recommendations and proposals that may enrich the economic scene in the Sultanate.
