Sayyid Asa'ad to lead Sultanate delegation in OIC summit in Istanbul

Muscat: Delegated by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, His Highness Sayyid Asa'ad bin Tariq Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan will head to the Republic of Turkey on Tuesday to lead the Sultanate's delegation in the extraordinary Summit of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), scheduled to be held on Wednesday in Istanbul, Turkey.
Sayyid Asa'ad will be accompanied by an official delegation comprising Yousef bin Alawi Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs; Sheikh Abdullamlik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Minister of Justice; Sheikh Mohammed bin Sa'ayid Al Kalbani, Minister of Social Development; Dr. Mohammed bin Awadh Al Hassan, Acting Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs; Sayyid Dr. Ahmed bin Hilal Al Busaidi, the Sultanate's ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and Permanent Delegate to the OIC; Qasim bin Mohammed Al Salhi, the Sultanate's ambassador to Turkey; Mohammed bin Nasser Al Whaibi, Head of the GCC Department in the Foreign Ministry; and Khalifa bin Hamad Al Badi and Saif bin Ahmed Al Sawafi, Advisors in the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan.
